Beach Bike LLC (d/b/a Swell Bike Co.) warrants to the original purchaser that the parts below are free from manufacturing defects under normal use:

• Aluminum frame: manufacturing defects, for the lifetime of the original purchaser.
• Shaft drive: manufacturing defects only, for 1 year from the delivery date.

Because a frame can't practically be swapped on its own, a valid frame claim is settled with a credit toward a new Swell equal to the value of the frame.

• Components other than the shaft drive — including the fork, wheels, hubs, brake, saddle, grips, pedals and tires.
• Paint and finish.
• Normal wear and tear, cosmetic scratches, and corrosion.
• Damage from crashes, misuse, neglect, improper assembly or adjustment, or use outside the intended purpose (a single-speed beach cruiser).
• Modifications, non-approved parts, or repairs by anyone other than Swell Bike Co. or a shop we authorise.
• Commercial, rental, or fleet use, unless covered by a separate written fleet agreement.
• Labour, shipping, or incidental costs except as stated below.

Many claims are resolved without shipping anything. If we do need the bike or part sent to us in Destin, shipping on warranty claims is paid by the customer.

Frame claims are settled with the credit toward a new Swell described above. For a valid shaft drive claim we will, at our option, repair or replace the defective shaft drive part; replacement parts may be new or factory-refurbished and are warranted for the remainder of the original period.

No registration is needed — keep your order confirmation as proof of purchase. This warranty is not transferable; it covers the original purchaser only.

THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY FOR THE PRODUCT. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY, AND SWELL BIKE CO. IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
